If you choose Gunner, don't scatter points on Wizard skills. If you choose Thief, focus on dodging and surprise damage; don't try to be a tanky Orc.

In the desert, enemies attack from a distance more often, so you need to increase defence or movement speed. In the caves, monsters are dense and move quickly, making area-of-effect skills invaluable. This diversity forces players to be flexible; a single formula cannot be applied to every situation.
Always maintain distance. No matter which class you choose, letting enemies get close will cause you to lose control. Move constantly and utilise jumps to dodge attacks and create new shooting angles.
Don't neglect defence. New players often concentrate solely on damage, leading to their swift defeat in stages 3-4. A balanced build between offence and defence will help you survive longer, giving you more time to deal damage.
Learn how to "kite" (move in an arc to pull monsters). This is a basic but crucial technique in any side-scrolling shooter. Move in a circular or figure-eight pattern to keep melee enemies out of reach while maintaining distance from ranged enemies.
Manage your resources. For Wizards, mana is limited. Don't use skills on weak waves of monsters. Save mana for bosses or unexpected large waves of monsters.
All races and classes are available from the start. You don't need to unlock them; just choose. However, to play effectively with difficult combos (like Elf + Thief), you should accumulate experience from previous plays.
Not recommended. Wizards have low health and require mana management, which can be discouraging for new players. Start with Gunner or Archer first, then switch to Wizard once you understand the mechanics.
There is no absolute "strongest" weapon. Each weapon suits a play style. Weapons with high damage usually come with a slow firing rate; weapons with a rapid firing rate have low damage. Choose a weapon that suits how you want to fight.
Each boss has its own pattern. Spend a few plays observing; don't try to win immediately. Learn to recognise when the boss is using its abilities and when there's an opening to attack. With bosses that have multiple waves of monsters, clear the monsters first, only focusing on the boss when the field is clear.
