The car automatically travels down the mountainside after its brakes fail. Steering left and right is the only direct way to guide it, making road positioning more important as the terrain becomes harder to read.

A clear path can disappear in seconds when trees, rocks, creeks, trains, or traffic enter the driving line. Moving hazards are especially dangerous because their positions can force sudden changes in direction.

Shield pickups can protect the vehicle during difficult sections. Instead of avoiding every obstacle, a shield allows the car to break through certain hazards and preserve its momentum.

Coins collected during downhill runs unlock new vehicles and expand the available selection. Models such as The Sergeant, The Drake, J. Rangeler, Commuter, and Lil' Foot add different styles to the garage.

The third-person perspective gives a wider view of the surrounding mountain, making upcoming hazards easier to spot. First-person moves the camera closer to the road for a more thrilling sense of speed.
