A fire axe cannot rotate as fast as a butterfly knife. Therefore, each time you unlock a new weapon, you have to "relearn" how to time your throws.
Before starting a throwing sequence, take a few seconds to feel the knife's rotational speed. Lighter knives rotate quickly; heavier knives rotate slowly. Please adjust your release time accordingly.
Focus on the target, not the knife. When the knife is spinning in midair, don't look at it. Keep your eyes on the target and feel the moment the knife lands. This technique is a skill that takes time to develop.
Build momentum from easy throws. Start with close, easy-to-hit targets to build momentum and confidence before tackling more difficult challenges.
